Working on a weekend roster, the Retail Assistant will be responsible for retail customer service, store-specific VM, as well as coordinating the daily operating procedures and general admin support. The successful candidate will be a skilled professional, who is hands-on, proactive, energetic and vibrant.


As a Retail Assistant, your tasks will include:

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the confidence to sell whilst creating an exceptional customer experience.
  • Has the ability to create a motivating and positive team environment.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of the store to maximise sales results and customer experience.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive and increase sales.
  • Manage new stock deliveries and visual merchandising within the store.
  • Assisting with customer service across all platforms including emails, phone, live chat, Instagram and Facebook enquiries.
  • General administrative support for the greater team, helping out where possible, i.e. runs to the post office, purchasing supplies for the office, etc.
  • Ensuring the store is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with stock stored neatly at all times. Organisational skills are imperative!

You will bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in a retail role, preferably in the fashion sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude; self motivated and energetic.
  • Enthusiastic; quick learner; organisational skills; proactive. Highly autonomous!
  • Exceptionally clean and willing to go above and beyond, showing initiative is a must.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Shopify POS preferred.
